Plot: This film was basically for you to know what an ordinary day of a basketball would be. Now this would only be applied if a basketball had any type of actual life.  In this film we can see that just because it is a ball, it doesn’t mean that it won’t have any other different way of living than a normal human being.

What inspired me to have this idea with my fellow classmate was that we could think of the most simplest way of portraying a life of a basketball.   Basketball is my favorite sport and we just thought that it would be much easier to make a film of a simple object than making a complicated film that would end up being a terrible one.as we thought that this film was going to be easy, it turned out to be a little stressful because sometimes the dogs that you see in the film would move the ball and wouldn’t let us work well.  Sometimes the ball went too far from where we wanted it to land.  These types of things is what made this film much harder than we thought.  Then in a personal level, this film was quite enjoyable.  I say this because during the process of making the film we had fun and we had moments to laugh which made this film really good to us.  In the simplest way possible if I hope you enjoy the film.

Mama MÍa

Starring: Meryl Streep, Pierce Brosman, Amanda Seyfried.

This movie is about a 20-year old who is going to get married. She finds her mother’s diary that mentions three names. Sam, Harry, and Bill. She never knew who her father was and now knows that it might be one of them. Sophie later decides to invite all of them and thinks she will instantly recognize him. She has trouble finding who it really is, but later figures it out.

This movie made a negative impact on me because I personally don’t like musicals. Also because I couldn’t stand the way the story takes place. For people like me, I recommend you not to see this movie because you will not have any patience throughout the whole entire movie. Now if you are a girly girl, you might actually enjoy the simple minded ways of this movie.

Lord of the Rings

Starring: Elijah Wood, Ian McKellen, Orlando Bloom.

Lord of the Rings is about this ancient Ring that was lost for a long time and suddenly was found. Because of fate, the ring fell into the hands of Frodo, a hobbit. Now Frodo must protect the ring from falling into the wrong hands.

Lord of the Rings made a negative impact because I never really understood why the movie was even made. The purpose of the film was pointless and the storyline was complex. Then the film was very long. It only took me one movie just to say that I didn’t like the film. I wouldn’t see it or recommend this movie.

The Warrior’s Way

Starring: Dong-gun Jan, Kate Bosworth, Geoffrey Rush.

The warrior’s way is about an assassin that is forced to stay and hide in a very small town. He had refused a mission, and must hide so they won’t kill him. He hid in a type of carnival city.

This movie made a negative impact on me because for me it was a boring movie. I didn’t get why they made it and I also didn’t get what was happening. It looked fake and my expectations were not what I was hoping for. So I was let down by the movie.

The Strangers

Starring: Scott Speedman, Liv Tyler, Gemma Ward.

This movie is about a young couple who are staying in a vacation house, in the middle of nowhere, and are terrorized by three unknown assailants.

This movie made an impact on me because since it’s based on real events, and it’s based on psychopaths going around and killing people, it makes you wonder what if this could happen to any of us. This movie made me conscious of how I hang out and where I hang out. I am now aware of what’s really out there. This movie might not be for everyone. It’s for people who enjoy horror films, but I would think twice before you expose yourself to it’s cruel scenes.

Forrest Gump

Starring: Tom Hanks, Robin Wright, Gary Sinise.

Forrest Gump is about a man who wasn’t that smart, but had good intentions in life. He struggles in life, but surpasses his challenges with his best friend jenny. He goes through life, accomplishing achievements that many people wouldn’t know or dare to get. This movie proved that if you put your mind into something, anything is possible.

This movie made an impact on me because it teaches you that in life, most things are not impossible. You can accomplish anything you set your mind to. Personally, I would recommend it because it’s a movie that teaches you resiliency. For other people, I wouldn’t recommend it because it’s a really long movie. So if you want to see an inspirational movie, in its way, I would recommend you to see it.

This movie is about this man who is a marine. This marine was in a wheelchair, so he couldn’t do much. Then there was this project in a planet called Pandora. The marines were looking for a rock substance that in Earth, would make them very rich. Then Jake Sully, the main character, becomes one of the natives, but soon discovers that he fits more in this world than his. He later fights to save Pandora and becomes a Na’vi permanently.

This movie made an impact on me because it shows you that no matter what you are, you can still be part of something. This movie also shows you something that you can portray back into history. You can relate it to the Spaniards trying to conquer lands inhabited by native Americans. I would recommend this movie to anyone who wants to see a god and long movie with good effects and that actually has a meaning.

Saving Private Ryan

Starring: Tom Hanks, Matt Damon, Tom Sizemore.

This movie is about a military war. After following the Allied War of Normandy, a man loses his two brothers in the battlefield. The government tries to locate him and send him back home. Tom Hanks leads his squad to be able to find Private Ryan and send him home. This mission takes them through many tough experiences, but they surpass situation.

This movie made an impact on me because it’s a movie that shows you one of the bloodiest wars in history, but also shows you the love he had for his family and how tragic, the lost and broken hearts this war had brought to him. I would recommend it because it’s basically a great movie. They put you in a position that actually might make you want to appreciate what military men and women do for their country.

Star Trek

Starring: Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Simon Pegg.

This movie is about a man who becomes a great captain and a great person overall. James Tiberius Kirk was born on his father’s last day of life. His father had become captain of a ship for 40 minutes and now is considered the best captain that had lived. Captain for 40 minutes, but saved 40,000 people that night. Now James Tiberius Kirk needs to prove himself, and must accomplish his goal of becoming the best captain alive.

This movie made an impact on me because it was a film that included my favorite things. Science fiction and action. This movie improved the series by its special effects and storyline. I would recommend this movie to anyone who enjoys a film that never lets you go to sleep. It has great scenes and it sends out a message.
